Mainly used for skin use, palmarosa essential oil is very useful and very effective in cases of excessive sweating, oily skin, oily scalp and dandruff. It is also frequently incorporated into the formulation of natural deodorants. It can also be used in synergy with bourbon geranium in the formulation of face creams to reduce sebum production and give radiance to dull skin. Attention ! This essential oil is strictly prohibited in the event of pregnancy: a powerful uterotonic, it promotes contractions of the uterus and regular use could cause premature delivery. Only under medical supervision, it can however be used on the day of delivery, during labor, to help the mother-to-be in synergy with clary sage essential oil (also strictly prohibited at any other time during pregnancy).
