Mainly used for skin use, palmarosa essential oil is very useful and very effective in cases of excessive sweating, oily skin, oily scalp and dandruff. It is also frequently incorporated into the formulation of natural deodorants. It can also be used in synergy with bourbon geranium in the formulation of face creams to reduce sebum production and give radiance to dull skin. Attention ! This essential oil is strictly prohibited in the event of pregnancy: a powerful uterotonic, it promotes contractions of the uterus and regular use could cause premature delivery. Only under medical supervision, it can however be used on the day of delivery, during labor, to help the mother-to-be in synergy with clary sage essential oil (also strictly prohibited at any other time during pregnancy).

Yield: approximately 0.17%. This means that it takes approximately 580 kg of palmarosa aerial parts to obtain 1 kg of palmarosa essential oil. Yield may vary depending on season, region, type of crop, or from one year to the next. The lower the yield, the more valuable and expensive the essential oil will be.

Solubility: All essential oils are soluble in oil or oily raw materials. To mix an essential oil in water, it must first be dissolved in a dispersant such as Disper.
