As we promised you, here are the last steps of the Japanese ritual to sport young, soft and plump skin through the ancestral knowledge of layering! (Did you miss the first articles ?! No panic! You will find here the history of layering and to be the first stages of this Asian custom). Let's not waste any more time by blabbing I bring down the curtain!
# 4: the serum
The serum is chosen according to the specific needs of your skin (anti-wrinkle, anti-stain…). Although moisturizing, the day or night cream cannot be replaced by a serum. The latter is applied to your face like your makeup remover, in circular massages. It will give your skin a feeling of soothing and well-being.
# 5: the eye area
The eye area is where the skin of your face is the thinnest, which requires special care, especially after 35 years. It is not necessary to take a large amount of treatment for this part of the face, only a small amount is enough. To avoid attacking your skin on this part of the face, apply your treatment with your fingertips by patting your face just below the eye. This will also stimulate blood circulation and help fight dark circles !!
# 6: day or night cream
This moisturizer is to be chosen according to your skin type. We can prefer a richer cream for the night cream because it will favor cell renewal unlike a too rich day cream which will tend to make us shine (we don't want to look like a mirror ball, eh ?!). A simple vegetable oil or an oleogel can also be suitable.
Heat the cream between your hands then apply it by placing your hands on the entire surface of your face. This allows the cream to penetrate deeply.
# 7: Lip balm
Because we like to have full lips to kiss our lover, we put everything on the last step of this ritual: lip care !! You can use 100% natural shea butter. The latter will highlight your lips and your smile! Because your smile is your first charm asset !!
